If you follow me on LinkedIn, you may have already seen that I am combining forces with Ryan Kovach and the Alt.CMO team.
I started chatting with Ryan a couple of months ago as he was firing up his Fractional CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) agency. We realized we had a ton of alignment and opinions on the State of the Construction Industry, how Small to Medium Sized businesses should be marketing, and maybe more importantly what they shouldn’t be doing.
There are a ton of good, honest, hard-working business owners out there who are working their tails off and not getting the results they want (or deserve).
That’s Alt.CMO’s mission: Help those companies grow that don’t have the resources (or the need) for a full-time Marketing Executive and team. Think of us as an extension of your Leadership team. Just a more cost-effective solution. (PS- through our partnerships, we can also provide any Fractional Executive function you may need)
We don’t do long-term 1 or 2 year contracts. With a simple month-to-month agreement; you can make a change at any time if you aren’t happy with the performance, just like an in-house employee. (Without having to worry about healthcare, 401k, payroll taxes, credit card expenses, etc. etc.)
So what does a fractional CMO team do?

Talent Acquisition Marketing - who wins the labor shortage battle in the next 5-10 years will be best in the industry
Exit Strategies - what will happen to your company when you plan to retire (or cash out) within the next decade? That work and plan should be put in place today.
Lead and Demand Generation - More leads, more sales, more business —> Better leads, better more profitable business… Do I need to explain this one?
Ect. Ect. - I think you get the point. It’s much more than a digital media agency. It’s much more than sending cold emails, and putting up some Facebook/ Google/ LinkedIn ads and content.. (Although the team can do that too! And do it quite well!)

Well, we wanted to give a shout-out for an Awesome Program they are running in conjunction with the Austin AGC Chapter.
Although Freestyle (based in Austin) is partnering with the local Austin AGC, they are doing 100% virtual classes for anyone, from anywhere. (You don’t have to be an AGC member)

By answering a few simple questions about your project (pay apps, material costs, predicted margin etc.) a report will be generated for you that will help you identify when gaps and surpluses of cash flow will occur during your project.
